The birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was celebrated with great enthusiasm at G H Raisoni University. Vice-Chancellor Vinayak Deshpande paid tribute by performing Pujan. The program was attended by the Registrar, Deans, HODs, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students from various departments.
International Women’s Day – Jivika
G H Raisoni University, Amravati celebrated International Women’s Day – “Jivika 2026” on 9 March 2026 with over 120 women participants. Chief Guest Mrs. Meenakshi Rajesh Sikchi spoke on financial literacy and independence for women. The event was organized by Dr. Bhavana Karmore, Dr. Swati Ambadkar, and Prof. Sapana Nandanwar, promoting women’s empowerment.

Student Symposium - 2026
GHRU, Amravati hosted the Student Symposium 2026. It was an intellectual convergence of ideas, perspectives, and purpose. The event was organized by the Hospitality Forum and Lawspective Forum under the School of Law and School of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. It stood as a tribute to the 135th Birth Anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar. The symposium honored his enduring vision of justice, equality, and enlightened thought. It also inspired students to lead with knowledge and responsibility.
