The B.Tech in Civil Engineering program is concerned with design, construction, and management of structures that are safe and meeting international standards. At the end of the course, the students shall be equipped with the following knowledge areas: Structural Mechanics, Geotechnics, Environmental Engineering, Transport systems, Construction Technology, Project Management Engines.
This program is also developed with the intention that the learner is able to gain understanding both from the theoretical perspective as well as with the applications in a multidisciplinary paradigm. Accumulation of practical experience is done through well-equipped laboratories, class exercises, field visits, and project works typical and emerging technologies in civil engineering.
The course thus helps in the development of critical skills such as critical thinking, innovation, and flexibility, particularly in job creation. These skills assist the students in addressing incipient issues in the development of a durable built environment as well as embodying innovative technology. Upon successful completion of the course, students should be in a position to develop urban layouts, transportation networks, water supply projects, and major construction projects.
It is our long-term goal now to provide the best combination of technicality, creativity, and leadership qualities to students, so that they can be embraced, supported, and become the cornerstone for establishing a more stable economy in society.

A B.Tech in Civil Engineering offers comprehensive training in areas such as structural design, geotechnics, environmental engineering, transportation, construction, and project management. It combines theoretical learning with practical exposure through lab work, field trips, and projects.
The average salary for Civil Engineering graduates in India typically ranges from ₹3-6 lakhs per annum. Salaries can vary depending on the job role, company, and location, with higher salaries reported in specialised fields like structural engineering and project management.
Key technical skills include structural analysis and design, material science, computer-aided design (CAD), construction methods, and environmental regulations. These competencies are crucial for performing effectively in the field.
To qualify for admission to the B.Tech in Civil Engineering, candidates must have completed their 12th grade with a focus on mathematics and science. Additionally, they must clear an entrance exam such as JEE Mains, MHT-CET, or any other relevant examination with a non-zero positive score.
Graduates can pursue careers as structural engineers, construction managers, environmental engineers, and transportation engineers. Opportunities also exist in city and town planning, as well as large-scale construction and infrastructure development projects.
The course is assessed through written exams, practical assignments, projects, and presentations at the end of each semester. Continuous assessment through lab work and field reports also plays an important role in student evaluation.
Valuable certifications for Civil Engineering students include Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE) license, and LEED Accredited Professional for green building.
Specialisations like structural design, advanced project management, and expertise in sustainable construction techniques are highly valued in the industry. These skills often command higher salaries, especially in fields focused on large-scale infrastructure projects. .
With increasing emphasis on sustainable development, Civil Engineers have vast opportunities in designing eco-friendly infrastructure, implementing green building practices, and developing energy-efficient systems. Specialising in sustainable construction, renewable energy systems, or urban resilience can open doors to high-demand roles in this growing field.
Yes, Civil Engineering graduates are in high demand worldwide. Countries with booming infrastructure projects, such as the UAE, the USA, Canada, Australia, and the UK, actively seek skilled civil engineers. Additionally, graduates can obtain international certifications and licenses to enhance their employability across global markets.
