Eligibility

Admission Procedure

1

The University will issue admission notifications regarding the Raisoni University Common Entrance Test (RUCET) in newspapers, on the University’s website, on the University notice board, and through other publicity media before the commencement of the academic year. This entrance examination is mandatory for admission. However, candidates who have appeared for a government-recognised entrance examination are also eligible, as per University guidelines.

2

The list of candidates provisionally selected for admission or shortlisted on the basis of merit will be displayed on the University notice board and the University website. Alternatively, students may be informed directly about their admission after the last date of application.

3

Candidates whose results of the qualifying examinations are awaited may also apply. They will be admitted provisionally. However, such candidates must produce the previous year’s mark sheet and School or College certificates as proof of meeting the required eligibility criteria before the due date, failing which the provisional admission will not be granted. The admitted candidate must present the mark sheet of the qualifying examination within one month from the due date of entry, failing which the provisional admission shall be cancelled.

4

If a candidate admitted provisionally as mentioned above does not obtain the required marks to fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission, the provisional admission granted shall be cancelled.

5

The application form may be rejected for any of the following reasons:

  • The candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria.
  • The prescribed fee has not been enclosed.
  • The application form has not been signed by the candidate and their parent or guardian, wherever required.
  • Supporting documents required for admission have not been enclosed.
6

An enrolment or registration number will be assigned to the student by the University after verification and submission of all necessary documents and fees.

7

Admission rules as framed by the University shall be applicable to all admissions from time to time.
