Preparation for the entrance exam in BITS Pilani

Preparing for BITSAT can be approached in a variety of ways, but it is recommended to choose the final test date for BITSAT 2021 to allow for additional review time and paper analysis of the test. When taking the test, it is important to not waste time on difficult problems and to move on if you are unable to understand or find the solution within 1-2 minutes. Developing a strategy in advance for what types of questions to solve first can be beneficial, as the exam has negative grading. Consider the option of attempting 12 additional questions for more test results, but keep in mind that this option is only available after completing all 150 questions, and once chosen, you will not be able to go back to the original 150 questions. Review the BITSAT exam pattern and do not neglect the English and LR sections, as answering questions correctly in these sections can improve overall scores. Keep in mind that BITSAT 2021 is directed by BITS Pilani for undergraduate program admissions at its three campuses: Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. You can appear in front of your book all day and still not be able to understand what you're seeing. Because while you are physically occupied with your books, mentally your brain is somewhere. Get ready to learn accordingly. Also, an average of 8-9 hours of continuous learning is enough; if necessary you can go until 10 o'clock. Do not study between 12 noon and 2 pm, as that will not be dynamic at all.

Another BITSAT scheduling tip is to know the exam pattern, e.g. the subjects covered, the types of questions asked, and the assessment scheme. This will depend on the 2021 BITSAT syllabus and exam pattern on which your exam organization will be based. Once you understand what to expect on the exam, coping will be easy.

• In the last month, focus on reviewing material that has already been studied in the previous 2-3 months. Devote 8 to 9 hours a day to studying during this time.
• Take mock tests or practice with previous years' papers to improve speed and accuracy. Aiming for a score between 300-350 points on practice tests can indicate a high likelihood of success on the actual exam.
• Practice answering questions quickly to take advantage of the bonus question option.
• Do not neglect the English section, as it does not require complex calculations and can be improved with good grammar and vocabulary skills.
• Take notes during preparation, as they can be useful for memorization and future review.

It is important to note that the BITSAT 2024 is a highly competitive exam, so it is advisable to take all the possible steps to be well-prepared for the examination. The last month is critical for the final push and for brushing up on the weaker areas.
