G H Raisoni University, Amravati organized a musical event ‘Konkan Kanya’ under the Sports Cultural Foundation of GHRU, Amravati on 20 th Feb, 2020 at the University Campus. The audience danced to the beats of the Konkan Kanya Band. The band group sang so beautifully that the audience were mesmerized with their wonderful performance as the best thing in their performance was the syncronisation and their voice. In Rising Star reality show on Colors TV channel, they were the 6 national level singers where they had presented new and old songs in a unique way.
Despite the program starting one and a half hours late from the scheduled time, the audience remained in the hall. Ms. Snehal Jaiswal introduced the program outline and the members of the band and started the program directly. All the six singers presented ‘Ganesh Vandana’ together as a group song, on stage there were the team director Raviraj Koltharkar, Rhythm director Vishal Sutar and the Singers Duhit Kunkavlekar, Nikita Ghate, Rasika Borkar, Sneha Akhre, Aarti Satyapal and Arundhati Tendulkar present. The konkan Kanya Band also gave a tribute to the artists like Late Dada Kondke and Late Shri Laxmikant Berde presenting marathi songs in a unique way.
Songs like kunitari yenar yenar g…, Ashi tari hi banva banvi…., Govinda re Gopala…, Jiva shivachi jodi…, Dhagaala laagli kadha…., made a amazing splash in the event similarly Ankho ki gustakhiyaan…., dil dhadkaye siti bajaye..was their Bollywood number which they performed.
